Beauty: What Is Your Priority? Pt.2

Good day everyone! As a contiuation of the May 2nd entry, I begin to ponder what is our beauty ritual? Esther prepared 12 months to go before King Ahasuerus; six months with oil of myrrh and six months with spices and the cosmetics for women (Esther 2:12-13). As she prepared physically to see an earthly king, how must we prepare to see the King of Kings? We must continually stay before the Lord through prayer and fasting and studying His Word. As we spend time with Him, we must walk in obedience before the beauty ritual is complete. We must be doers of the Word, not just hearers (James 1:22-25). As you go through the day, ask yourself: would God be pleased with what He sees?

I agree. According to 1 Peter 3:4 “You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.” The more we strive to reflect God and and godliness the more beautiful we become.

We have to remember that the beauty that comes from within far exceeds (and is more important) than outer beauty!!
