Appreciate Your Pastor

Sorry for the late notice, but the month of October is Pastor Appreciation month.  I know many churches this time of the year are celebrating pastors’ anniversaries, etc.  Take the time to show your love and appreciation for the man/woman that God has placed over your spiritual lives.  The role of a pastor can be a daunting task.  They are often loved, yet hated, sometimes praised, but always scrutinized, surrounded by people, but often lonely.  We will never know the sacrifice, time, and dedication it takes to oversee a body of believers until we’ve walked a mile in their shoes.  Our pastors need our support,  our presence, and most of all our prayers.  

What does the Word say about our pastors and how we relate  to one another?    Here is some information from my-pastor.com:

    This article/website was researched by a pastor’s kid (PK)who knows the inside story of parsonage life. To be able to grow into adulthood and not resent the ministry altogether is a praise report in itself. I, too, am a PK.
