Every so often a fresh new sound emerges on the gospel music scene. This time that sound comes from Reginald Boney. Reginald was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. He began singing at five years old. By the age of 10 Reginald began playing the organ for Victory Temple Holy Church, where the pastors are his parents, Raymond and Regina Boney.
I recently had the pleasure of witnessing the professional debut of this anointed man of God. As I listened to the songs that ministered to my spirit, I forgot it was a debut performance. Anointed singing is a gift and he has both received and embraced that gift. The performance was polished. Reginald has chosen anointed vocalists and musicians that compliment his ministry of Word and song. It is evident that these young people are about kingdom business as they sing to the glory of God.
Victory Temple Holy Church has had the great pleasure of enjoying this talented musician, singer, songwriter, and choir director for over 10 years, now they share him with the world. This psalmist lyrics are evidence enough that he is passionate about soul winning. This young man is willing to stand, walk in the calling that is upon his life and allow God to get the victory. Keep your eyes open and prepare your ears for a new sound that is sure to feed your spiritual appetite.
