Why Should I Be Bound?

Hello ladies!  I hope you all are having a blessed day!  Today I just want to encourage you all  to walk in or continue to walk in the freedom that God has given you.  So many of us choose the life of bondage.  We forget that thru salvation God has paved a way for us to walk in liberty.  Some of us are still enslaved to the sins of our former life and some of us, those sins we allow ourselves to become entangled with while on this Christian journey (Romans 6).  Hold fast to what God has done for you and stand firm in your commitment to being free and staying free (Galatians 5:1)!

Things happen in our life that may cause us to worry, fear, be anxious, be bitter, give up, etc.  We must remember that God loves us and is more than willing and able take those things that come to defeat us (1 Peter 5:7).  We must put our faith into action when things come that may hinder or damage our relationship with God.  We must remember that God only has the best planned for us (Jeremiah 29:11).

True freedom can only be experienced thru a true and honest relationship with God.  We must give God those things that no one else may see or hear–those things deep and close to our  heart.  Remember, He already knows, He just waiting on us to release it to him.

It is so easy for us to get caught up in the details of our lives and focus on trying to fix our problems ourselves instead of turning them over to God. Often, we are so accustomed to being bound that when we receive deliverance we are not able to accept it, which is yet another trick of the enemy. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. Let us be no longer bound!
