Our society is filled with numerous things to distract our children. The moral fiber of country is torn and it is up to us to mend it with prayer. Prayer is the greatest shield of protection we can provide our children. We must continually stay before God on their behalf and teach them to pray for themselves. Each week we will focus on a specific area to lift our children in prayer .
This week we pray according to the Word of God that our children will be protected from physical, emotional, and spiritual danger. We pray that they will recognize the traps the enemy sets for them and trust the Lord, their shield, to protect them. Take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. (Ephesians 6:16) We pray that they will watch as well as pray and that they are blessed in their going out as well as their coming in. Psalm 41, 2 Thessalonians 3:3
