Restoration

Most people have something that they enjoying collecting.  We take great care in preserving collectibles. However, despite our best efforts sometimes our collectibles get broken.  For example, repairing a piece of fine china or porcelain can seem like a daunting task.   However, with patience, a steady hand, and often, some assistance, it can be accomplished.

A broken relationship is one of the most difficult things to mend.  Whether we have been wronged or have wronged someone else, resolutions are not always easy.  We worry about how we will be received and if the other party will recognize our sincerity.  For example, Esau had been bitter for many years after losing his birhtright and blessing to his brother Jacob.  Time, however, helped him realize that his relationship with his brother was more important than his brother’s sins against him.

Although it took twenty years, the fragile relationship between these brothers was restored.  No matter how daunting the task, God can heal any wound and restore what the enemy has stolen from us.
