The Found Should Seek the Lost

I found the following on another website today and I really believe that it simultaneously conveys the simplicity or importance of The Great Commission.

Matthew 28:16-20

The Found Should Seek the Lost
By Fenny West

The found should seek the Lost

Reach out to them in love

God wants them to be just

Born again from above.
If you’ve found bread, then give

To others who hunger

Tell them He will forgive

If they confess- whosoever.
Just tell them we’re all sinners

Come short of God’s glory

Those who come are made winners

As they bow to the High and Holy.

Tell them the banquet is all set

But their seat is still empty

Tell the sin’s price is all met

By Jesus the Lord of Glory.
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever. Dan12:3

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. Prov, 11:30

Psalms:126:6: He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.Ps126:6

And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”John1:46

28Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29″Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ[b?” 30They came out of the town and made their way toward him. John4:28-30
