National Sanctity of Life Week Jan. 18th-24th

In 1983, an organization now known as Care Net asked President Ronald Reagan to create a special day to focus on the intrinsic value of human life. That same year, Reagan issued a proclamation establishing a National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. For those who support the Right to Life, this week is an important one. Every year we recognize the infamous Supreme Court decision that overturned many state laws banning the killing of unborn children.
Sisters of the Faith will be commemorating this occasion–January 18th-24th. I encourage you all who believe in fighting for human life, to do something within your community or church to spread the truth about abortion. Many churches are putting flyers and giving information in their programs, inviting speakers and providing special prayer time. There are a variety of things to do to get the word out and help support pro-life ministries and aid mothers who feel abortion is there only option.
Many of us have been effected by this tragedy. We have experienced an abortion (or thought about it) or know someone who has.
