Service: Dress for Success

As Christians we are no longer enslaved to sin and we are free to serve others with loving kindness just as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did for each of us. He served people who needed Him. Matthew 20:32

Many of us have articles of clothing and accessories just hanging in our closets that we may never get back into. We hang on to items that we either can no longer fit or just want to see our closets full. Why not donate them to a woman that could really use them? Dress for Success is an organization focused on making a lasting difference in women’s lives. Women that are seeking employment are referred to Dress for Success by non-profit and government agencies to be outfitted (head to toe) with a professional look to help them prepare for interviews that will lead to life changing careers.

Dress for Success has also established the Professional Women’s Group (PWG) which provides support to women transitioning into the workforce. Their Career Center initiative promotes professionalism and Steps to Success is an initiative that focuses on the importance of the first 30 days of employment and the challenges that come with it.
