Reading For Our “Brown Babies”

Having two children, I am always looking for books or things that will stimulate them intellectually.  As many of you know, reading is one of the most important things you can do to get your children on the right track.  As an African-American, I also believe that it is important that our children see positive images of themselves reflected in everyday life.  I have found a wonderful website, www.brownbabybooks.com.  It is a site powered by Amazon.com dedicated to African-American childrens’ books.  This is a great tool if you want to purchase from them, read reviews, or get a listing of books to look for in your local bookstore.
