National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday 2010

January 24, 2010 is designated as National Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.  This week is designed to educate and enlighten those who need information about the reality of abortion, to celebrate life at it’s earliest stage, and remember  to fight for those are the most defenseless-the unborn.  Here is a quick overview of what abortion is provided by www.abort73.com, an excellent source for those wanting the unfiltered truth about abortion:

Sisters of the Faith has also provided information for those who want to provide information, and/or seek assistance for themselves and others.  We also have shared stories of those who have been directly effected by abortion and most importantly, how God views us and the love He has for us even before we were conceived.  This is a topic that is near and dear to our hearts.  Please pray continually for this cause.

Then Jesus stood up again and said to her, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?” “No Lord,” she said. And Jesus said, “Neither do I. Go and sin no more.” John 8:10-11

Countless women and their loved ones learn very quickly that an abortion is not something you can just do and forget about. I have had conversations with so many women that continue to have both physical and psychological problems as a result of abortion(s). Most of them suffer from guilt and of course they ask themselves “what if”. If you or someone you know is racked with guilt or suffering from feelings of shame there is hope. Below you will find resources to begin the healing process.

News We Must Use: Planned Parenthood

King once said, “The Negro cannot win as long as he is willing to sacrifice the lives of his children for comfort and safety.” How can the “Dream” survive if we murder the children? Every aborted baby is like a slave in the womb of his or her mother. The mother decides his or her fate.”

-Dr. Alveda C. King
Niece of Dr. Martin Luther King,Jr.

On April 8, 2008 Fox News reported that Planned Parenthood employees had encouraged telephone donations from callers hoping to encourage the abortions of black babies. The money was “offered” from members of an anti-abortion group at UCLA and it led to a quick apology from Planned Parenthood. They claimed that their employees made a “serious mistake” in encouraging such donations. The conversations were recorded. Fox News Story

So many women in minority communities rely on Planned Parenthood for “affordable healthcare.” However, there have been many reports that women have been coerced into having abortions. It seems that Planned Parenthood is hiding under the false pretense that they are there to help when in fact, it is reported that 80% of their facilities are in minority neighborhoods. Sisters of the Faith decided to do a little research. Listed below are some quotes from Margaret Sanger, the controversial founder of Planned Parenthood. It seems that their beliefs have not changed much.

“Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.”
Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood

“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population…”
Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood

The marriage bed is the most degenerative influence in the social order…”
Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood

“Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying…a dead weight of human waste…an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all.”
Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood

Organizations like Planned Parenthood are assisting in the genocide of minorities. It is up to us to share with women everywhere that abortion is not a form of birth control. We are charged to share with them that children are rewards from the Lord. Psalm 127:3-5
Our society looks at children like they are burdens that destroy rather than enrich our lives and our lifestyles. We will continue to offer information and resources that share the truth about abortion and its consequences with everyone in our ongoing series.
